Game of Week #10: Pitt 36 -- Notre Dame 33

Even if it takes 4 field goals in 4 OT's, it's always sweet to watch Notre Dame fall to one of their many rivals against whom they otherwise love to rack up cheap wins. Panther Coach Dave Wannstedt appears finally to have his alma mater on the right track. With this win, they are bowl eligible for the first time since 2004. And they have one of the best RB's in college football with freshman LeSean McCoy.

Meanwhile Notre Dame falls to 5-3 with tough games against Boston College and USC remaining. QB Jimmy Clausen is slowly improving but I wonder if fans of the Fighting Irish will find a patience that they rarely display.
